Monica Morosin, starting as our new 4th grade addition, marks her 7th year as a 4th grade teacher and the 10th year with LASD. She was born and raised in the California Bay Area and earned a B.A. in psychology from Palo Alto University. She earned her teaching credential, as well as Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, from Notre Dame de Namur University. Monica loves to teach in the community in which she grew up.

What she enjoys most about working with students is connecting with them on a personal level and learning about the world through their eyes. Each year, she looks forward to learning the new and interesting perspectives her students have to offer.

When not teaching, she spends her time baking, trail running, and traveling abroad
