Born and raised right here in the Bay Area, I experienced first hand the multitude of ways that passionate teachers can inspire their students. A handful of those incredible teachers have inspired me to pursue teaching, as well! After graduating from San Francisco State University with my Bachelor's, I attended Alliant International University for a joint credential and Master's of Arts in Education program. After completing my credential, I taught third grade in a different district. My favorite part of teaching is the sense of community that is built in the classroom. When a sense of community is established, learning and exploration can flourish. In my free time I enjoy traveling, hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with friends. I am a dog lover. I have three dogs currently at home and many foster puppies that come in and out. I am incredibly excited to join the community at Oak, stop by and say hello, I would love to meet you!
