I fell in love with the world of teaching as a direct result of learning through the eyes of my own children and their educational experiences. For me, the joy of teaching extends beyond the classroom; I believe that student success is created through meaningful relationships. Daily, I am excited and motivated to find ways to engage students and discover ways of learning together. 
I received my B.A. at U.C. Santa Barbara, and more recently, my M. Ed. from Santa Clara University. Learning has become a passion!

I am a big fan of the outdoor world, and together with my family
 - my husband, 3 children (ages 21, 18, 15 years) and a faithful dog - we enjoy exploring the planet. Preservation of our world is also important to me. I enjoy hiking, reading, gardening, baking and am a fan of the S.F. Giants and Golden State Warriors.
