Hi there! My name is Julia Pressman and I love being a part of the Oak and LASD community. I grew up in Mountain View but moved to Vancouver, BC to study at the University of British Columbia where I completed my BA in Spanish and my BEd in Primary Education with a specialization in French Immersion Education. I taught for three years in Vancouver and will be going into my second year teaching 4th grade at Oak. My teaching philosophy is rooted in social justice and informed by social and emotional learning. Some of my favourite things include: dogs, playing beach volleyball and flag football, and food that has rainbow sprinkles on it.
